Nithyanandan Radhakrishnan (Nithya) is founder and partner at Brown Tree Consulting, a law firm based in Bangalore, India. Nithya was formerly the General Counsel of Infosys Ltd (NYSE: INFY) and is licensed to practice law in California and India. In addition to being on the board of Cloudtail, he serves as a Board Member of Prione Business Services Pvt. Ltd., Anviti Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd. and Xceedance International Limited.
Mr. Amit Ranade joined Catamaran in 2020 and leads investments across the firm. He has over eighteen years of experience in India and the US, across private equity, M&A and investment banking.
Prior to Catamaran, Amit worked at Investcorp Group focusing on originating and evaluating investments, and managing existing portfolio. Previously he was with WestBridge Capital Partners and was one of the early members of the private equity team at Premji Invest. He started his career in Investment Banking with US offices of Wachovia Securities and had stints at Thomas Weisel Partners and BlackRock.
Amit has a Master of Science in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University, USA and Bachelors / Masters in Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai. He lives in Bangalore with his wife and son.
Sumit joined Cloudtail in February 2017. His previous stints include Director of Category Management for Amazon India, Chief Marketing Officer for Croma (an electronics retail chain from the Tata Group). He has also spearheaded several sales and marketing assignments for Coca-Cola India.
Sumit graduated from the PGP program at IIM, Ahmedabad in the year 1997 and is a BE from NIT, Jaipur. He resides in Bangalore with his wife Kirti and daughter Naina.
Amit serves as the head of Finance & Taxation for Prione Business Services. He is a Chartered Accountant from 2002 batch. In a career spanning over Nineteen years, Amit has worked with many companies including Airtel and Deloitte in various leadership roles. In his last stint with Airtel, he worked in various leadership roles including the finance head for Gujarat circle, and “Cost Controller” for PAN India operations. He has a rich experience of business finance partnering, project management, controllership, implementing cost controls and talent management. He joined our team in 2018.
Shilpa is an HR leader with 20 years of local & international experience spanning across all functional areas of HR, with a deep specialization in performance and talent management. She has experience in partnering with the business across varied cycles as well as demonstrated leadership in building & leading large teams and managing scale.
Shilpa graduated from Hindu College, Delhi University and has an MBA in Human Resources from the International Management Institute, New Delhi. She started her career in HR consulting with Ernst & Young/ Arthur Andersen and thereafter worked with Aviva Life Insurance and ICICI Prudential Life Insurance.
She then worked with MetLife as the Country Head of Human Resources for the India business and then as the Talent Management lead for Asia. Thereafter, Shilpa served as the Chief HR and Corporate Responsibility Officer for Bharti AXA General Insurance.
Prior to joining the Prione group; Shilpa worked as the Chief Human Resources Officer for Arvind Fashions Limited.
Priya joined Cloudtail in August 2018 and also serves as the Head of Legal for Prione Business Services.
In a career spanning over 16 years, Priya has worked as counsel primarily in the technology industry, with expertise in multiple legal domains including privacy, ethics and compliance, sales and marketing, employment law and real estate.
Priya holds a law degree in addition to being a Company Secretary. Prior to joining Cloudtail, she served as the Head of Legal for Aconex, an Oracle Company and as Senior Legal Counsel for Dell.
Ranjit leads the Hardlines business at Cloudtail that works with brands in categories such as Home, Kitchen, Furnishing and Appliances. He brings experience in managing sales channels, business development and marketing at Nokia and Apple. Prior to Cloudtail, Ranjit worked at Amazon, managing the seller business for Consumer Electronics categories. He holds an engineering degree from Mumbai University and is a management graduate from the Indian School of Business.
An alumnus of St. Stephen's and IIM-Bangalore, Sriram leads the Softlines or Fashion business at Cloudtail. His businesses include Apparel, Shoes, Luggage, Watches, Jewellery, and Eyewear. He started his career in FMCG with Coca-Cola followed by stints in Media with ENIL (Radio Mirchi), Bloomberg TV and BCCL (The Times Group).
Neeraj has 16+ years of professional experience spread across multiple business functions of Category Management, Consulting and Operations. At Cloudtail, he runs the P&L for the FMCG and Physical Media business. At Cloudtail, the FMCG business includes categories of Beauty, Baby Products, Personal Care, Grocery, Toys and the Pantry program. Under Physical Media he manages Books, Video Games and Software. Prior to Cloudtail, he worked with Amazon and was part of the team that launched Amazon wholesale (B2B) in India and later worked as Category Leader for HPC, Baby and Grocery for Amazon.in. In his last role at Amazon, he was head of the FMCG business for Amazon Middle East based out of Dubai. Neeraj holds B.Tech degree from IIT Kharagpur and MBA from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai. He is married and has one daughter.
Rehan leads the Mass Vendor Relations (MVR) program where he manages all new vendor recruitment and also provides vendor management to Tier 2/3 vendors across all categories for Cloudtail. Previously, he was Head-Sales for Prione, responsible for managing a series of SMB enablement programs through large distributed teams across the country, enabling 60k+ sellers during his 2.5-year tenure. Rehan is a seasoned business leader with over 16 years of multi-industry experience. He has worked in top companies in the FMCG, Fashion, Healthcare, Energy, Retail and E-commerce sectors. Post MBA from SIBM, Pune, Rehan started his career in Sales Management in 2004 and spent a decade in Sales and Distribution Management, Revenue and Operations Management, Business Development and Key Account Management, handling large distributed teams, managing top-line and bottom-line deliverables for the business. He worked for companies like Dabur, Coats Plc, Johnson & Johnson and Shell in India.
Subsequently, he pursued Global strategy and planning roles for the next 3 years in Shell, firstly for Shell Convenience Retail, based out of Hamburg, Germany and then for Shell Global Technical and Competitive IT.
